Hiba Healthcare provides transport support to enable participants build their own capacity to travel independently. This includes training to use public transport and rental of adaptive vehicles.

We also help our participants to increase their independence by providing them with the knowledge of public transport including taxis, Uber, bus, tram, trains, and even interstate and international travel. We train them in understanding bus/tram/train routes and their timetables, buying, using, and recharging a fare card.

For those participants who cannot access public transport conveniently or comfortably, Hiba Healthcare has established partnerships with wheelchair accessible transportation service providers to support our participants.

Ultimately, it is our aim to support our participants in achieving a balanced lifestyle that supports their social and wellbeing needs where travel and transportation needs are the least of their worries.
