Community Nursing Care
This is the provision of specialist care for participants who have high care needs requiring a high level of skill, and for the training of support workers to respond to the participant’s complex needs. Hiba Healthcare provides nursing services to people in their homes in an around our service area.
Hiba Healthcare provides clinical and personal nursing care to participants who are unable to travel or prefer receiving care in their own home due to privacy, comfort, or any other reason. The aim just like any other service is to support participant’s independence and lifestyle in a safe and preferred environment.
A typical assistance provided by a community nurse include:
- Wound care
- Medication Management and Administration
- Catheter Care
- Hygiene and Incontinence, and
- General nursing care like showering and dressing
Hiba Healthcare is registered to provide nursing care to NDIS participants eligible for complex clinical support services for short term, long term, and ongoing needs.
